Promiscuous, jolly, and bold. The Hares' champions are masters of defense. They use the sai and wear scale mail armor. Living deep underground in mazelike tunnels, they are many in number. They are ruled by Lord Raymaker, wielder of the Blinding Truncheons. He is said to be the first of the race and the second oldest being in all of Nirakam and its moons. Once a mighty warrior, this ruler now manages the Slerma Warren, largest in the known lands. His elite Guard are unmatched by any other race. The Hares have never recovered from their alliance with the Foxes before the Great Purging. Now they hide away in Befour to learn, breed, and train. Some say -- though only in whispers -- that darkness lingers in the heart of their ancient Lord.
